while most computer makers have progressed beyond the boring beige box, minimalism and restraint isn’t
their strong suit. flashy high-tech pcs are the industry standard, but a few smaller companies are beginning
to build simple computers that blend with their surroundings. ryou makes elegant wood computers that are
small and very minimal with only a cd slot and power button on the front. plush design builds similar machines
that boast small form factors and a variety of colour options. the company also builds their pcs cases from
ceramic, adding a warmth unachievable with beige plastic.
